We Are Alive, Inc. is a charity dedicated to assisting persons with terminal or severe chronic illnesses, regardless of the illness. WeAreAlive provides services to it recipients in the areas of monetary assistance, resources and educational programs. In 2001 our friend and supporter, actor Sherman Hemsley (known to many as George Jefferson of the TV series "The Jeffersons"), played on the "Classic TV Star Edition" of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and won $125,000.00 for WeAreAlive as his favorite charity. Due to this event WeAreAlive gained national exposure. With the national exposure WeAreAlive has had hundreds of new calls for assistance from persons across the United States. At the rate of calls coming in WeAreAlive needs your help to be able to continue helping persons in need nationwide . Donations to WeAreAlive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are tax deductible on Schedule A of your individual Federal Tax Return to the extent provided by tax law.
